The Centre for Experimental Theatre also organizes exhibitions. These take place on the premises of the theatre complex at Zelný trh (Galerie Foyer, Galerie Katakomby a Zeď na Alžbětince/The Wall in the Elizabethan theatre space) and also in HaTheatre.
Since its foundation the Centre for Experimental Theatre has organized more than 250 exhibitions: paintings, drawings, graphics, illustrations, collages, statues, puppets and space installations, stained-glass panes and photography (artistic and documentary).
Exhibitions map not only the work of well-known artists (e.g. Steklík, Nepraš, Olešová, Rechlík, Štreit, Skalník, Šimek, Špale and others), but also less-known ones, whose work is remarkable, and also young and starting artsists. Every year there is at least one exhibition of an artist or a group of artists from abroad (Austria, France, Spain, Germany, Japan, Great Britain, Slovakia etc.). By supporting exhibitions focusing on ecology the CED helps to raise awareness of ecological issues aminy visitors to both the galleries and the Theatre Goose on a String (e.g. Libkovice - Conscience of the North, Ropák annual awards, Our Beskydy, 10 years of Children of the Earth in photographs etc.).
The galleries give space to the youngest generation of visual artists (Planet of Little Prince, On the Comet - works of children from refugee camps etc.) and also to exhibitions focusing on humanitarian issues (Artists for hospital, Winter in Sarajevo, From the Shade to the Sun - artefacts of epileptics).
