One look back at the end of the theatre season at CED
In June, we said goodbye to the 2024/2025 season at CED Theatres. At the Husa na provázku Theatre, the season of They! ended, challenging us "above all to a great and honest review of each of our We." At HaDivadlo, we wrapped up our anniversary Season 50: Horizons and are looking ahead to a new season, already under the wings of new artistic leadership. The Terén has completed their sixth season, presenting new theatre projects and interdisciplinary cycles that will continue into the new season. Look back with us at the end of the season at CED.
The Husa na provázku Theatre presented the last premiere of the season, the staged concert I'm saving you a spot under the baton of the director Anna Davidová. The concert, subtitled "Czechoslovak bash", presents Provázek as a renewed conversation between nations that are not even divided by national borders, while asking, „What kind of times will the flash above the Tatra mountains bring?"
The Husa na provázku Theatre then brought the season to a definitive close with a wide-ranging afternoon programme on 28 June at the provázek.dvůr, which ran until the evening hours. A number of befriended bands performed, the traditional cooking show took place, there was a live recording of the prvzk.podcast and much more.
The launch of the new 2025/2026 theatre season with the subtitle "Don't worry, don't worry!" will take place on September 11, 2025.

The last premiere of the theatre season at HaDivadlo was Agony (Classical Reality Show) directed by Alexandra Bolfová. The original theatre production, in which Helena, Clytaimnéstra, Penelope, Medea and Cassandra compete for the heart of the Exceptional Man, explores questions of identity for contemporary women and asks if our myths can be healed.
To conclude Season 50, HaDivadlo hosted a commemorative event, Places of Memory: Kabinet múz, on June 7. At the Kabinet múz, HaDivadlo's former venue, audiences watched a recording of the production of The Human Tragicomedy, witnessed a discussion over a beer, enjoyed three concerts by associated bands, and concluded with a special midnight screening of a recording of the big beat musical Stars on the Willow.
The opening of Season 51: The Collective will take place on September 6, 2025 at 5:00 pm in the Gardens under Petrov, and the evening program will take place in the HaDivadlo.

Terén ended the theatre season with the programme The Club of Violets, Pansies and Irises, the fourth part of the Collective Dreaming Club series at the Klub zastupitelů (City Councilor's Club). The June edition focused on the theme of queer ecology through the sharing of practical "know-how" or a workshop on radical imagination in relation to the land and non-human animals. You can look forward to programs in the unique location of the Klub zastupitelů in the coming season.
In September, Terén will open a new theatre season on 13 September 2025 in collaboration with the Resistance Support Club at the City Councillors' Club with the final event of a series of community meetings Let the Orchard of Hope Bloom / Хай квітне сад надій.
