We have launched the CED Online Archive

At the turn of the year, we launched the CED Online Archive. It is a digital database where you can easily browse through historical and archived materials from a number of productions and projects by the Husa na provázku Theatre, HaDivadlo, and Terén, as well as the now closed Divadlo U stolu and Studio Dům.

Karamazovci or Balada pro banditu by the Husa na provázku Theater. Depeše na kolečkách or Dcery národa at the HaDivadlo Theater. Šamhorodský proces by Divadlo U stolu. Records of these and other legendary productions can now be found in a digital form.

At the turn of the year, we published the CED Online Archive. In it, you can search for records of productions or projects mentioned theatres from their inception to the present day. In addition, you can also find records of the activities of now defunct companies – Divadlo U stolu or Studio Dům.

"We are very pleased that the history of the Center for Experimental Theater has not been forgotten, but on the contrary, thanks to the CED Online Archive, it is now even more accessible to all who are interested – whether they are academic researchers, professionals in the field, or the general public," says Jan Búrik, director of the Center for Experimental Theater.

The digital archive can be searched by file, theatre season, or keyword. "You can find posters, programs, script fragments, extensive photo documentation, and a range of other materials, not just promotional ones," says CED librarian and archivist Aleš Kolařík, describing the archive's contents.

The CED Online Archive can be found at: https://knihovna.ced-brno.cz

The project was carried out with the financial support of the European Union – NextGenerationEU.
