COINCIDENCIAS/COINCIDENCES is a piece of dance made by Melanie Venino (DE/FR) and Roberta Legros Štěpánková (SK/CZ) in 2021 between France and Czech Republic.  

The premiere of the duet will take place on the 5th and 6th of November 2021 at Sklepní scéna (Center of Experimental Theatre) in Brno, Czech Republic. 

Two bodies and minds steadily moving between two states of involvement of the body memory, their bodies being confronted by both - the known and unknown dances in the real time of the stage.  

COINCIDENCIAS/COINCIDENCES
Is a dialogue in which we hear and we are heard,
an endless listening that opens up the space. 
Two bodies, two origins.
A play between the known and the unknown, and how the known becomes unknown.
It is reaching out beyond our control and order. 
A constant oscillation between the memory of the past and attention to the present, that permeates us, and immediately becomes the past. 
It's a bold play to try out the edges of tranquility, the touch of which can suddenly flood us like an explosion.
