Authors’ Reading Month (ARM), which is the largest literary festival in Central Europe, was established in Brno in 2000 and over time spread to other cities: in 2011, to Ostrava; a year later to Wroclaw and Košice; and, most recently, to Lviv, in 2015. The programme of the festival has a dual focus: the first is domestic, i.e., the literature of the host countries; the second is the literature of the country that is awarded the title of ‘Guest of Honour’ in that particular year.

CED iniciovalo vytvoření velkoformátového obrazu, který upozorňuje na alarmující změny klimatu. Obraz byl trvale umístěn na budovu CED v Petrské ulici.

Zprávy o klimatické změně a o tom, jak ji můžeme ovlivnit jsou někdy protichůdné, často vytržené ze souvislostí, někdy mohou vypadat jako náhodné výkřiky, jindy jako souboj “alarmistů” a “popíračů”. Jak se v tom vyznat? Přednáška O. Přibyla a M. Lahody pomůže laikům zorientovat se v tématu.

Přednáška ekologa Alexandera Ače a sociologa Vojtěcha Pecky o projevech klimatické krize, a o možných způsobech řešení. Přednáška se konala v návaznosti na Výzvu brněnských kulturních institucí k vyhlášení stavu klimatické nouze na území města Brna. Iniciátorem klimatické výzvy bylo Centrum experimentálního divadla (CED).
